WAITLIST PROGRAM

Welcome to our automated Waitlist System. We are pleased to offer this tool that handles our wait list in a more efficient way. Through this system, you can quickly add or remove children to the wait list, and the system will automatically put the child in the right age group and notify you of openings. We encourage you to go to the link below to register your child today to place your child in the best position possible for our class openings. Once you register, you can be assured we will manage your request in a timely and professional manner.

Childcare Waitlist Q&A

1. How long is the waitlist?
The length of the waiting list depends on the class and age of the child. Upon registering your child we will let you know where you are placed on the list. Please be patient with this process. We promise this wait list will best position your child to advance the list.

2. Can I stop in anytime to take a tour?
We are happy to have you visit us and take a tour of our facilities! In order to give you our full attention we do want you to call ahead and set up a time to come in.

3. When will I be notified that my spot is available?
All families are required to give a 30 day notice upon leaving our center or reducing days needed for care. Who we call first will depend on the type of opening available (part-time or full-time).

4. Will I be told where I am on the list?
The waitlist is always undergoing change as enrollment offers are accepted or declined, families request changes in schedules or preferred start dates, etc. Although we do not send out automatic updates, you are more than welcome to contact us at any time to see where you are on the waitlist!

5. What do we need to do if our childcare needs change?

If your child care needs change in any way we’d appreciate a quick email or phone call so we can keep our waiting list current. We generally contact each family on the waiting list twice a year to see if their needs have changed, however you can update your information at any time.

6. What can we do to ensure that we get an opening when we need it?
One of the most important things you can is to start looking for care as soon as possible! Due to licensing ratios infant openings are especially hard to find so you should get on a waiting list right away – don’t wait for your baby to be born before you start looking for care.

7. Do you know any other center or childcare provider with openings?
We don’t recommend any other center or childcare provider, however our local Child Care Aware Program can help you find regulated child care. The charge for this service is based on your family’s income, and is good for up to three months of referrals at a time.

8. What happens next?
The waiting list offers “right of first refusal” for available openings; families will be offered available openings according to priority, date of application, and how closely the requested childcare schedule fits the available opening. After being offered an opening you have 24 hours to accept or decline the offered opening. If you choose to decline the opening your name will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list. If you choose to accept the opening you must submit a completed enrollment form with the New Student Enrollment fee ($250) within 24 hours of being notified or the opening will be offered to the next family on the list.

9. How do I pay my New Student Deposit?
All payments for ECLC are made through our online Procare program. You will be given a form to fill out with this information.

10. When will my spot be available?
Generally your spot will be available 31 days from the day you are notified. In some cases it could be longer if a parent gives more than 30 days notice. At that time we would specify when the opening is available.

11. Is my deposit refundable?
No, this fee reserves your spot for enrollment. However, upon starting care $150 of your deposit will be credited towards your first month of tuition.
